Our Asset Management Policy

Content Editor

In order to deliver a level of service that meets, or even exceeds, our customers’ expectations, ADDC is committed to planning, developing and operating a reliable distribution system that’s safe, secure and also cost effective.

As the sole distributor of water and electricity across much of the emirate of Abu Dhabi – excluding Al Ain – it is our primary function to build, operate and maintain the huge distribution network, with it’s numerous assets, that make our business possible.

In order to effectively plan and manage such a vast collection of assets, we think it’s important to focus on developing the correct strategy, supported by various functional policies, to direct our asset management planning and its associated systems using recognized best practices.

We are committed to:

1. Work towards realising the Plan Abu Dhabi 2030 initiative.

2. Support the delivery of ADDC’s strategic plan.

3. Work in unison with our stakeholders to achieve success.

4. Foster corporate social responsibility, sustainable development and health & safety.

5. Employ a risk-based, decision making approach to advance the integrated management of our assets.

6. Develop a programme-driven approach to the provision and management of assets.

7. Obey all statutory and regulatory requirements.

8. Adopt both a regional and international perspective on asset management.

9. Promote a culture of continuous improvement of our people, processes and systems.
