ADDC educated the employees of Khalifah Energy Complex, ADNOC and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority on the objectives of Circular No. 1 for 2015, issued by Abu Dhabi Executive Council, to make it mandatory for the Abu Dhabi Government entities not to pay utilities bills for their employees or to provide them with allowances for this purpose. Mohammed Al Qubaisi, Head of the Key Accounts Section, said; “This decision has been issued with the ultimate objective of encouraging individuals to reduce their consumption of water and electricity”. Adding “we made a very successful tour as people we met were very aware of the objectives of the circular”. The employees were also educated on the water industry in the emirate starting from desalination, transmission and finally distribution stages which are very expensive in both environmental and economic terms a matter that makes it mandatory for people to reduce their consumption in line with the directives of our visionary leadership and Abu Dhabi 2030 strategy. The tour was a part of the World Water Day celebrations, organized under the slogan “Water and Sustainable Development” and the team comprised Mohammed Al Qubaisi, Head of Key Accounts Section, Mustaffa Ali, Head of the Customer Care and CC&B Section and Eng. Abd Allah Al Bai, Head of Water Engineering Section.
