Utility services window inaugurated in Al Shahama

The Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) the sole utility provider in Abu Dhabi city and its dependencies, an entity of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA), has recently inaugurated a new window for customer services in Al Shahama Center of Abu Dhabi Municipality.
The new window provides services such as cancellation and activation of utility services, services of clearance certificate issuance, updating of customer's details and utility bills payment, etc. Al Shahama Center serves around 80 thousand people living in areas of old and new Al Shahama, Al Falah, Al Rahba, Al Shalylah, Al Bahyah A and B, Al Sader, Al Samha East and West, Ghantoot and Abu Dhabi International Airport, etc. The centre working hours is from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
The new centre has been set up as a part of Abu Dhabi Government plans aimed at enhancing the water and electricity sector and providing the emirate's residency with the best utility services. Plans are in the pipeline for the inauguration of additional customer services centers and windows, the company sources said. ADDC has this year inaugurated one-stop windows in all its customer services centers with the aim of making the customer experience hassle-free and reducing queue time.
ADDC has recently introduced new water and electricity bills payment mechanisms that include ADDC's website; www.addc.ae, the Abu Dhabi e-Government Portal; www.abudhabi.ae, IVR system by dialing toll-free; 8002332, ATMs of some authorized banks and kiosks electronic payment systems located in the company's customer services centers, ADNOC petrol stations, Emirates Post offices and some shopping centers.
